Tabitha A. Jecmen
Divorce and post-divorce disputes are emotional times for all involved. Tabitha has the knowledge and expertise to navigate her clients through the family court process, and does so with compassion. Her passion is to preserve and maintain family values through mediation and settlement. Recognizing that each person and each case is different, Tabitha enjoys crafting creative solutions that might not otherwise be available through litigation. However, when negotiation proves unsuccessful, she is a skilled litigator who will advocate for you and your family.
Tabitha was raised in the Midwest and attended Indiana University for her undergraduate work. Thereafter, she worked as an editor for World Book Encyclopedia in Chicago. During law school she worked as a law clerk for the DuPage County State’s Attorney Office. After law school, Tabitha was an associate at a civil litigation firm in Geneva, Illinois, practicing in the areas of legal malpractice and personal injury. Since moving to Phoenix in 2006, Tabitha has practiced primarily in the areas of family law, intra-corporate disputes and real estate. Her wide-reaching breadth of experience is an asset, and gives her a unique perspective on your case. Tabitha joined Hallier Lawrence in 2009 as an associate attorney and became a partner in 2015. She Volunteers as a Judge Pro Tem of the Maricopa County Superior Court. Tabitha also volunteers on the Foster Care Review Board.
